Admissions Open : Nursery to Grade 8 (CBSE) for School Year 2026–27

My darling child, the day you were born was the most empowering day of my life. There were green trees, birds in the sky, a balmy autumn afternoon, and I instinctively stood alone by myself. There was a strange quietness amidst the crowds around.

A newfound power surged through me as I bent down and touched the earth at my feet. I was calm, so calm in fact that people around were strangely taken aback. But I remember what my mother had told me years ago, nature helps us when we create something beautiful, so let that nature take its course. I did not want to interfere with what was unfolding; a rare birth. I had the trust and self-belief that something beautiful was being created. Let it happen.

Your birth healed me and those loved ones around. When I saw you before me,months of self-doubt were obliterated. Your birth helped me to be reborn. In that moment I realized that I was capable. I dream now that one day you will realize the power you have and grow to insurmountable heights of acceptance and recognition.

Over the past two years, I have been raising you in some incredible strange times. In so many ways the world has been brought to its knees, and as a society it feels we are disconnected from ourselves and with each other than ever before. But living within the safe confines of a closed community has provided us a bubble of bliss. We are connected to those beliefs that matter, a sense of commitment, solidarity and love. The world outside us is still chaotic and confusing, but we are holding on with a few that we love around us and that is keeping us happy.

Dear child, do remember that our sector can still be very stereotypical in its outlook to new babies and their needs. We are not always treated equally, we are not always given the opportunities we deserve, and we are not always valued for the most meaningful contribution that we are capable of. I desperately hope that those tiny but steady steps that you have started taking, will help you to grow and mature with the conviction that you are no less than those who have come before you and you deserve no less respect than anyone else that will follow.

Whatever you choose to do, my beautiful child, you must set aside everyone else’s expectations of you and focus and what you need. Not on what you want. Do not let external expectations get in the way of the authenticity of your birth. Do remember that a few who really love you and me, naturally, will hover over you like a helicopter. We are trying to guide you, to mould you, to protect you. We are helping you to carve your path for you. I wait for the time, which I am sure will be very soon when you will eventually fly solo.

Your name will speak for itself, Vedanya.

Your name my dear child was born out of a sense of endless grace and happiness. Live your name. Let it spread its joys around. Be the Vedanya. Live the Vedanya. Follow your dream, dear child. Let no-one ever extinguish your fire.
