“All the world’s a stage,” especially for the young learners. At Vedanya, theatre is a safe space for our learners to not just explore characters but also discover their own persona. Creating stories on our stage, young enthusiasts will learn to empathise, emote, express, engage and embellish thought and action. Mentors will introduce a basic appreciation of theatre arts and help our children discover and develop their self- image through many fun-fulfilled activities and exercises.
Our growing learners need to be creators and not just consumers of technology. This creative module focuses on problem-solving mechanisms through the structured approach of design-thinking The journey of our learners in our structured approach will include: Framing a problem >> collaborative brainstorming for solutions >> creating prototypes >> testing prototypes >> finally using the product/solution and representing the products/solutions in real-time.
At Vedanya, we help our young learners adopt physical fitness as a way of life. In this module, Vedanyans learn fitness through conscious movement, explore how to listen to one’s own body and adopt routines to use minimal efforts, yet achieve maximum fitness. Movers in this age group indulge in just one or two sports, hence, it becomes the perfect age to introduce the right foundational training in a fun manner and foster a lifelong relationship with a particular sport for their physical wellness and fitness.
The Afro-Brazilian martial art form of Capoeira stands for liberty and expression of the free spirit residing within each of us. We have chosen this unique art form at Vedanya, as it combines movement, breathtaking acrobatics, music and dance which renders great support to developmental milestones in the growing years of our children.
Children jump, run, crawl, throw and catch, while imbibing expertise as they enjoy practicing the movements of animals such as the lion, the crab, the frog, Furthermore, they improve their flexibility as they grow with Yoga-inspired cart wheels, stretches and much more!
Learning the foundational straight and sidekicks, along with basic evasive manoeuvres, such as ducking and lunging that improves their muscle strength.
